In energy storage manufacturing, the power container assembly line is where it all comes together. A well-orchestrated assembly line isn't just helpful—it's essential for speed, accuracy, and consistency. Let's walk through one such line, where automated systems and skilled workers collaborate at every step.
Every journey begins with positioning. A gantry container mobile vehicle swings into action, hoisting an empty power container and placing it precisely onto a slat chain conveyor. Once the gantry pulls away, the container is officially in play.
First up: manual prep.Workers swing open all eight doors—four in the front, four in the rear—and lock them firmly in place, ensuring no wobbles or surprises. This creates a wide-open, safe workspace inside.
Then, they step in to handle initial interior fitting, laying the groundwork for subsequent hardware installation.
The conveyor moves the container to its first automated milestone: the automatic stack loading station.
Nearby, a stack rack stands ready. Forklift operators bring stacks from storage and place them onto the rack.
Now the robot takes over. It glides into position, extends its retrieval fork, and smoothly pulls out a single stack. Carrying its load, it moves inside the container. Guided by preset programming, it then places the stack exactly where it needs to go—on the upper layer.
Repeat five more times. The robot seats all six upper stacks with pinpoint accuracy—no guesswork, no drift.

With the upper layer complete, the conveyor advances the container to the next manipulator station. Here, the same high-precision dance plays out for the lower layer. Six more stacks, six more precise placements.
When the last stack clicks into place, the robot has roughly positioned all 12—ready for the finer work ahead.
Automation handles the heavy lifting and positioning, but precision fastening and system integration is where skilled workers take over.
The conveyor moves the semi-finished container through a series of specialized stations:
●Fastening Station – Workers torque the coupling bolts between each stack and the container body. Torque-controlled tools ensure every bolt meets exact specifications.
●Pipeline Installation Station – Here, workers connect the cooling lines and ventilation ducts that will keep the system cool and functioning properly.
●Electrical Installation Station – Following detailed schematics, workers route and secure high- and low-voltage harnesses, bringing the container's nervous system to life.

Before a container can leave the line, it must prove itself.
At the pressure testing station, operators run critical quality checks:
Airtightness or hydrostatic tests on all piping—no leaks allowed.
Insulation and withstand voltage tests on the electrical system—no shorts, no weaknesses.
Only when everything passes do workers swing the doors shut. The main assembly is officially complete.
The finished container rides the conveyor to the line's end. Waiting there is the same gantry container mobile vehicle that started the journey. It lifts the finished unit off the line and sends it on its way. Next stop: a commissioning bay, an aging area, or straight onto a truck for delivery.
This assembly line does more than just move containers. It synergizes the repeatability of automation with the craftsmanship of skilled workers. Conveyors ensure a steady workflow.
