The system integrates high-speed precision stamping technology, online visual inspection, automatic stacking, and cleaning functions. It delivers a stamping solution that ensures high consistency, high yield, and low cost for bipolar plate manufacturing.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
1. Ultra-High Precision, Micron-Level Forming
Fuel cell bipolar plates feature complex flow channel structures with shallow depths (typically 0.3mm to 0.8mm) and tight tolerances. To meet these requirements, the line uses a high-rigidity precision press paired with dedicated tooling. This ensures consistent flow channel depth across all plates while minimizing spring-back.
2. Fully Automated, Unmanned Operation
The entire process—from coil unwinding, lubrication, stamping, online inspection, to finished plate stacking—is centrally controlled by a PLC. An automatic feeding manipulator is integrated, achieving production cycles of 6 to 12 plates per minute depending on plate size and complexity. This significantly reduces labor costs.
3. In-Line Cleaning for Safety
Oil residue and micro-particles (metal dust) on stamped plates pose a critical risk of short circuits in the stack. To address this, the line integrates plasma cleaning or in-line degassing modules. It ensures plate surface cleanliness reaches ISO Class 5 or equivalent standards.
4. Intelligent Quality Traceability
A CCD visual inspection system monitors defects in real time, including flow channel cracks, wrinkles, and burrs. Each plate is marked with a QR code or DPM code. This enables full lifecycle data traceability, from material batch information to final stamping pressure.
