This dual-action servo press for stack assembly is specifically engineered for the high-precision assembly process of fuel cell stacks. It is an advanced servo press integrating dual-action balanced compression, closed-loop force-displacement control, and in-line quality inspection.

The equipment is designed to resolve the issue of uneven pressure caused by stacking tolerances between bipolar plates and membrane electrode assemblies (MEAs) during the stack assembly process. Through its precision mechanical structure and advanced servo control algorithms, it ensures consistent contact resistance and excellent gas tightness after compression, laying the foundation for high-efficiency output and extended operational life of the fuel cell.

1. Dual-Action Balanced Compression Structure

●Design Concept: Employs a "dual-action" structure with upper and lower servo cylinders (or upper action with lower auxiliary support).

●Process Advantages: Unlike traditional single-action presses, the dual-action design enables centered compression of the stack. During the pressing process, the upper and lower platens can move synchronously toward each other or implement differential control, effectively counteracting internal stresses and preventing bending or interlayer slippage of the stack under load. This is particularly advantageous for high-precision parallelism control of end plates in long stacks.


2. Closed-Loop Force-Displacement Control

●Real-Time Monitoring: Integrates high-resolution grating scales and real-time pressure sensors to form a high-speed closed-loop feedback system.

●Precision Pressing: Supports multiple pressing modes (such as position priority, force priority, and force-displacement hybrid control).

●Core Algorithm: The system incorporates a built-in "force-displacement" monitoring window, plotting the actual curve in real-time during pressing. If the curve deviates from the set tolerance envelope, the system automatically judges it as NG, ensuring a traceable and reliable pressing process for every stack.


3. Integrated High-Rigidity Frame

●Integrated Construction: The press frame utilizes a monolithic cast iron or steel plate welded structure, stress-relieved through annealing treatment.

●Accuracy Assurance: Ensures minimal deformation under pressing loads of up to dozens of tons, thereby maintaining long-term stability of pressing parallelism and perpendicularity within micron-level tolerances.


4. In-Line Gas Leak Detection System

●In-Situ Testing: Performs detection immediately after pressing, eliminating the need for transfer and avoiding errors from secondary clamping.

●Dual-Channel Control: Equipped with high-precision proportional valves and mass flow meters, supporting independent or simultaneous inflation of the anode and cathode cavities.

●Multiple Detection Modes: Pressure decay method (overall sealing), flow method (quantifying leakage), with an optional helium leak test interface.

●Intelligent Judgment: Automatically records the pressure-time curve, compares it with a template, generates a leakage rate report, and determines pass/fail.


5. Intelligent In-Line Weighing and Data Traceability

●Integrated High-Precision Scale: A high-precision weighing module is built into the equipment platform, enabling real-time detection of stack weight before and after pressing. This verifies the correct quantity of bipolar plates and MEAs, preventing assembly omissions.

●Production Line Integration: As a core station in an automated production line, the equipment base features a lifting mechanism for seamless connection with a double-speed chain conveyor. Stacks are automatically transferred to the press station via AGV or conveyor line, enabling fully automatic loading and unloading to meet the demands of high-volume production.
