Cyclic Servo Hot and Cold Press is a high-precision, highly controllable thermoforming/cold forming equipment. Its core strengths lie in the combination of servo motor precision control and fast hot-and-cold cycling. It is widely used in laboratory R&D or small-batch production of polymer materials, carbon fiber composites, lithium battery electrodes, electronic packaging, and more.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
1. Heating stage: The heating platen (oil, electric, or electromagnetic heating) raises the temperature, while the servo-controlled press ram descends at a set pressure/speed, allowing the material to soften, flow, and take shape.
2. Holding stage: The set temperature and pressure are maintained for a specified duration to ensure complete reaction or setting of the material.
3. Rapid cooling stage: Cooling water (or liquid nitrogen) is circulated through the platens, while the servo system maintains pressure, enabling the material to rapidly solidify under controlled conditions and avoid internal stress or deformation.
4. Cycle control: Programmable to perform multiple heating-cooling cycles, simulating specific process conditions.
1. Pressure/position accuracy: With servo motors combined with ball screws or hydraulic servo valves, pressure accuracy can reach ±0.1% F.S., and position accuracy is at the micrometer level.
2. Fast thermal response: Integrated design of built-in heating tubes and cooling channels. Heating rate: up to 10–30°C/min. Cooling rate depends on the medium – approx. 5–15°C/min with water cooling, and significantly faster with liquid nitrogen.
3. Programmable temperature-pressure profile: Segmental settings for temperature, pressure, and time; multiple recipes can be stored.
4. Energy-saving and quiet: Servo system consumes power only during motion, reducing energy consumption by 30–50% compared to traditional hydraulic presses, with noise levels below 65 dB.
1. Polymer materials: Compression molding and casting experiments of thermoplastic/thermoset films or sheets (e.g., PLA, PEEK, PI).
2. Composites: Lamination and curing of carbon fiber prepreg – hot pressing and cold pressing can be completed in one step.
3. Electronic packaging: Lamination and warpage correction of IC substrates and FPC.
4. Biomedical: Temperature-sensitive molding of hydrogels and biological scaffolds.
